10,000 Lakes Regional

​On April 6, The MinuteBots traveled to Williams Arena at the University of Minnesota to compete in the 10 Thousand Lakes Regional Competition. The team took 2nd place out of over 60 teams

Minne-Mini Competition

The MinueBots traveled to Prior Lake High School to compete in the "Minne-Mini" offseason competition. They teamed up with The Fighting Calculators from Woodbury to take 3rd place out of over 40 teams at the event.

Exploring Robotics 1.0

For the inaugural "Exploring Robotics" event, the MinuteBots welcomed Mark Lawrence, regional director of FIRST in Minnesota, and Colonel Robert Cabana, director of the Kennedy Space center and a former NASA astronaut, to speak at Central. Afterwards, a robot exhibition was held in the lobby

3M Showcase

The team traveled to 3M corporate headquarters to display their robots and interact with 3M employees and their kids, and even participated on a robot parade!

Build Season Weeks 1 & 2

In this two week period, a team strategy was decided on, the drive chassis was assembled, and ideas began to be prototyped.
