The 2014 Build Season
During this six week period, the team designed and built a robot from scratch to compete in the 2014 FRC challenge, Aerial Assist.
Week Zero Game Scrimmage
The Saturday before robots had to be bagged, the MinuteBots hosted a scrimmage in their school's gymnasium. Five other St. Paul teams attended, and were given an opportunity to see how their robots would play before they attended the regional event.
Minnesota 10,000 Lakes Regional Competition
At this competition, the MinuteBots ranked 4th out of 63 teams after the qualification matches, and led their alliance to a place in the finals.
The MinuteBots Meet The Firefighters
The St. Paul Fire Department made a generous donation to the MinuteBots, and sent some members out to Central High School to talk with the team mates and show them the ropes of fighting fires.
2014 FIRST International Championship
The MinuteBots had an amazing time at the International Championship in St. Louis, Missouri. They met and competed with some of the best teams in the country, and had a great time at the after party!
Cub Foods Fundraiser
The MinuteBots went to Cub Foods during the holiday season to raise money by bagging groceries, and to spread the word about robotics in Minnesota.
