Our Outreach Projects

The MinuteBots are committed to reaching out to our local, state, national, and global community. As an urban robotics team, we are in a unique position to promote STEM education and collaborate on outreach projects to make a positive difference in the world.

Feed My Starving Children Challenge

In the 2017-2018 season, the MinuteBots volunteered as a team for a meal-packing session at Feed My Starving Children in Eagan, Minnesota. Following our positive experience we extended a challenge to other teams to beat our bagging record in a Feed My Starving Children Challenge.

Robot Presentations

Throughout the year, the MinuteBots present their robots to various groups including school children, companies, and community centers.

Summer Camp

In summer 2018, the MinuteBots hosted their first STEM Summer Camp at the Boys and Girls Club. Over a week, a group of second-graders learned about STEM topics such as engineering, robotics, electricity, biology, and chemistry. They also got to see Fracture in action, and were able to drive it around!
